Dr Trung Nguyen completed his PhD in 2022 at the University of Western Australia in Prof Ryan Lister’s laboratory. Trung’s PhD project utilised epigenome editing tools to modify DNA methylation specifically in the genome to investigate its causal role in transcriptional regulation.

Trung is currently a Posdoctoral Research Associate in Prof Ryan Lister’s laboratory at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. He is currently building multimodal single-cell assays to simultaneously profile multiple histone modifications at the single cell level.
